Employment Advice & Counsel
Clear, practical advice that helps you make employment decisions with confidence and keep legal risk low.
I advise employers, managers, HR teams, and in-house counsel on the full employment relationship, from hiring and workplace policies to investigations and departures. Personnel decisions grounded in a solid understanding of employment law make a business stronger and more efficient, and they reduce the risk of employee claims. My advice weighs the legal risks alongside the people involved and what your business needs to keep running.

Who I work with?
I work with businesses of every size, but I focus on companies with fewer than 200 employees. These businesses have outgrown informal HR but aren't yet large enough to need in-house legal or HR departments. If that describes your business, I built this practice for you.
My clients range from startups to established companies across many industries. I serve employers throughout California, including out-of-state and international companies with operations here.
Why work with me?
Employment law changes constantly, and California is one of the most demanding places in the country to get it right. My goal is to keep you ahead of those changes instead of reacting after something goes wrong.
You work with me directly. Every call and email comes to me, the attorney who knows your business. You get fast answers without being passed through staff or handed off to a junior associate.
I move at the speed of your business. Terminations, leave deadlines, and accommodation requests often can't wait. I prioritie responsiveness because advice that comes too late can cost as much as bad advice.
Advice, not litigation. My practice is devoted entirely to advice and counsel, so my guidance is aimed at preventing disputes, not preparing for them. That keeps it practical and cost-conscious, since most workplace problems are cheaper to prevent than to fix.
